We have gained a reputation for presenting the very best of Singapore theatre while championing exciting new voices and artists. Every year, we inspire thousands of young people from the ages of 5 to 35 through our comprehensive drama education programmes. At the same time, we continuously strive to make our programming as inclusive, affordable and accessible as possible for people from all walks of life.Ā As Wild Rice is a major employer in Singaporeā€™s theatre industry, your contribution will also go towards supporting the livelihoods of hundreds of freelance theatre professionals.

Theatre is the most communal of all art forms. It cannot be made by one person alone. A whole community comes together to tell our stories on stage ā€“ from writers and directors to designers, performers, technicians, crew and so many more people behind the scenes.

You can help us create theatre too.

As a not-for-profit Singapore charity, Wild Rice relies on the kind generosity of our supporters to keep doing the vital work we do. Ticket sales and grants cover only a portion of our costs, which continue to rise amidst uncertain economic conditions. We still need to raise at least $2.5 million each year to sustain our operations, which directly contribute to the livelihoods of hundreds of professionals in our performing arts industry.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the Holiday Angel campaign run?

Wild Riceā€™s Holiday Angel Donation Drive runs from 12 November 2026 to 28 February 2027.

All donations received throughout this campaign will be matched under the Tote Boardā€™s Enhanced Fundraising Programme accordingly:
(i) The Tote Board will match 20% of funds raised, capped at $50,000 per application;
(ii) the government will match 30% of funds raised, capped at $75,000 per charity applicant per financial year.

Only Angel donations made through the following channels are eligible to be matched under the Tote Boardā€™s Enhanced Fundraising Programme.

(ii) PayNow to UEN 200100891D, with attached form
(iii) Make a bank transfer to UOB account 102-316-408-1, with attached form

Donations made through other channels, such as Giving.sg, are most welcome, but will not be eligible for the matching grant.

Your Angel benefits will be valid for one (1) year from the date of your donation.

Once you sign up as an Angel, we will get in touch with you to ask for details such as the name by which you wish to be acknowledged. We will subsequently acknowledge you as an Angel in our collaterals for the next 12 months. You may also choose to remain anonymous.

As a Wild Rice Angel, you can redeem your complimentary tickets via SISTIC for any production presented by Wild Rice on our main stage. You can also make a booking combining complimentary and purchased tickets. Please refer to our user guide for the steps to redeem your complimentary tickets and purchase discounted tickets using your Angel promo code.

Angel complimentary tickets are valid for the best available seats for any show presented by Wild Rice. This typically means Category 1 and 2 seats in the stalls and Balcony 1.

Prior to each Wild Rice production, we will send the corresponding discount code to you via email. Please check your inbox settings and whitelist [email protected] to ensure that you are receiving our emails.

Yes! TheĀ Angel tier will be based onĀ the total amount donated in one (1) year. For example, ifĀ a monthly recurring donation of $50 would entitle you to become an Amber Angel afterĀ one (1) year (i.e. 12 x $50 = $600).

Please note thatĀ Angel complimentary tickets are only valid for one (1) year from theĀ initialĀ date ofĀ donation, andĀ cannot be rolled over.
